Our Story

Kids at the Creek Preschool is an Early Childhood Education Program that has had the honor of preparing thousands of young children for elementary school since 2006. Our convenient location in Mill Creek opens the door for families in the Everett, Snohomish, and Northshore school districts.

Research consistently reveals that young children thrive in a developmentally appropriate learning environment. Our dedicated staff are passionate about our play-based, process art-themed curriculum. We strive to create engaging spaces and experiences that ignite curiosity, foster critical thinking, enhance social interaction, build literacy and math readiness, encourage group skills, and inspire creativity all while nurturing confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Kids at the Creek is an absolutely wonderful! The staffs are kind, caring, and truly dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for the children. They make every child feel welcome and supported, which speaks volumes about their professionalism and warmth.

Our Kindergarten program was added in 2010 in response to a high demand from our preschool parents! As a result, we now provide full-day and half-day options that offer more one-on-one attention for each student due to our smaller class sizes while still challenging students to maximize their potential! Please see our FAQ's for more information about our stellar kindergarten program.

Both of my kids attended Kids at the Creek from preschool through kindergarten, and the experience has been outstanding. They’ve become confident, creative, and excellent readers, thanks to the nurturing and structured learning environment.
